Born in NYC 1962, grew up there and on Long Island, went to a small Liberal Arts school upstate NY, moved to Washington DC, got hired by the FAA and been talking to airplanes in Seattle ever since 1985 (no, the airplanes don't talk back, I'm (yet another) ATC'er).
Recently married, now I have a great little family including my 10 year old daughter and dog. We do a lot of windsurfing, especially in the summer months, I sail my Morgan27, bike, fly a little -- up for just about anything really. Wintertime finds us on the slopes (gave up my skiis for a board recently, will probably never go back).
Been flying WB since 1.0X (?) and really love it. Almost got into a squad once with a green named Rekkof, I started out flying greens. Months later found some co-workers were getting involved and started hanging around with them. Was recruited (you STILL owe me a beer) by YT who was flying with some hotshot sticks named dick(pnus?) and slick (sick?) who probably don't even know me now, but have found a great fellowship in the 487th. I wouldn't change squads now for the world. I really enjoy the team work and camaraderie that goes into flying in this squad - I just wish I could attend more squad functions!
