Here is what the red carpet looked and felt like when I passed down the carpet amid loud martial music and the admiration and applause of the Virginia Air National Guard.

This is part of the wonderful red carpet treatment the 352nd Fighter Group received by the Virginia Air National Guard at the final reunion in Richmond Va on Sept 23, 2000.

Here is the K-14 gunsight. A reticle was viewed on the slanted glass which provided the correct "lead" when firing at an enemy plane. The more 'Gs" you pulled, the farther ahead of the enemy plane the reticle advanced. Pilots carried a .45 sidearm to shoot the K-14 if he crash landed in enemy territory.
